We have two options to reach at pokhar either drive or Flight. If we take flight from kathmandu to pokhara, it will take around 30 m to reach their. And in the same day we will start our trek. Drive 1 hour from pokhare to Nayapul and continue trek to poonhill. But if we drive to pokhara. It will take around 6 hrs to cover around 200 km from kathmandu to pokhara.

We start our unward journey the next day. Early morning brek fast at hotel then drive to nayapul and start trek. Most of trekking trail leads to different small beautiful villages dweller Gurung and Magar like, Ghandruk and Ulleri. When we reach at village you are warmly welcome by local people. We will get an opportunity to enjoy warm hospitality.

Annapurna short trek in nepal leads through Rhododendron forest. During spring Rhododendron is full bloom and forest is look alike almost red flower garden even trekking trail is also look like covered red carpet. It makes trip unconvincing. Trip Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Our representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to your Hotel in Kathmandu. After having a formal introduction, you are being provided with a welcome drink at the hotel. We will give you helpful tips for your time in Kathmandu. You can travel around the rest of days yourself. O/N Hotel -B.B.

Day 2

Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist Bus

Early Morning (7.00 AM) departure to Pokhara by Tourist Bus transfer to Hotel. Arrive in Pokhara afternoon at 2 Pm O/n Hotel. Relax then short sightseeing around Pokhara. O/N Hotel -B.B

Day 3

Pokhara to Tirkhadunga: (1,577 m.)

One hour drive by car or Jeep to Nayapul. From where the trail descends sharply to Birethanti and follows the East bank of Burundi Khola and arrive at to Tirkhadunga. This is a small village to the bank of the small river where you have night. Particularly this village offers to anyone its native Magar Cultures. O/N Hotel -B.L.D.

Day 4

Tirkhadunga to Ghorepani: (2,810 m.)

The trail rises to Ulleri village, through uncountable steps and you attain the Ulleri Village from where you can see the incredible views of more enjoyably terraces and the river down to the valley. The trails then follow through Rhododendron forest riving at the top of Ghorepani deurali at 2810m and overnight on there. O/N Hotel -B.L.D.

Day 5

Ghorepani to Tadapani: (2630 m.)

Early in the morning trek to Poon hill where one may observe the sunrise for lifetime reminiscence. From Poon hill one can view over 30 white-capped peaks, the whole Annapurna range. Many people talk about having a life-changing awareness after watching the sunrise over the view of the Himalayas. Then, walk through the forest filled with flowers (in the spring). Overnight stay at Tadapani. O/N Hotel -B.L.D.

Day 6

Tadapani to Chomrong: (2170 m.)

Tadapani is the greatest location of Rhododendron forest and sees impressive mountain scenery. After your breakfast trek down to Riverside and trek ascending to Chomrong. O/N Hotel -B.L.D.

Day 7

Chomrong to Hot Spring (1780 m.) Full day exploring

Today is your relax day, you just descending 1 hour to Jhinu Danda and enjoying rest of day for Hot Spring. O/N Hotel -B.L.D.

Day 8

Hot Spring to Birethanti and by Car to Pokhara

You are walking through the shadow of the Fish Tail and Annapurna range is heading to the South West ridge of the hills, furthermore down to the Modi Khola. The trails continue through the bank of the Modi Khola and reach the point (Birethanti) where your trek started 5 days ago, possibly lunch here. Half hour walks lead you to catch the van, and then drive to Pokhara. O/N Hotel -B.B.

Day 9

Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist Bus. O/N Hotel -B.B.

We will Drive or fly back to Kathmandu in the afternoon. The left side of the airplane offers some amazing views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we will be escorted to our hotel. We enjoy the day leisurely or catch up on some last minute shopping or explore any landmarks we missed during our first day in Kathmandu. In the evening, we will attend a celebratory farewell dinner together. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10

Departure or Extend your trip

Our journey in Nepal comes to an end today! Alfresco Adventure representative will drop us off at the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight. On our way home, we have plenty of time to plan our next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.

Health and Experience Requirements

Experience is not necessary for taking part in this trek, anyone fit and healthy enough to walk for 4-6 hours a day can manage well. Also, since this trek takes us to only low altitude on a generally good weather with easy access to local amenities even kids and elderly can take part. Exercising and jogging regularly for some weeks prior to the trip is, however, a good idea as it enhances your strength and stability.

Foot were: well broken-in, walking shoes, thick socks, light socks, camp shoes.


Clothing : down or fiber filled waterproof, jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirt, shorts, long underwear, wool hat, sun hat, gloves, bathing suit, track suit.


Other equipment: sleeping bag (4 seasons), trekking hold all or stash sack with lock, daypack, water bottle, sun cream, trekking sticks, sunglasses, flashlight with spare bulbs and batteries, lip salve.


Other items: insect repellent, toilet articles, diary, toilet roll, laundry soap, wet ones, pocket knife, tie cord, towel, sewing kit, plasters, binoculars, camera, film, cards and personal medical kit.
